Why BuyerSide exists

Buyer protection for people at an information disadvantage. Used cars are where we start.

It started with a Chevy Suburban. The miles on the dash looked right. The price looked fair. It turned out the odometer had been rolled back, and a history report run before the sale would have shown it. Nobody had told the buyer to check.

That's the problem in one sentence. When you buy a used car, the seller usually knows more about it than you do. Most buyers aren't careless. They just don't know which questions to ask, which records to compare, or when something that feels a little off is a reason to stop.

Something doesn't add up? Don't hand over the money until you know why.

What we build

Plain, practical tools you can use on your phone, standing next to the car. The first is a free nine-stage checklist that ends with a straight answer: Green, Caution, or Stop, with the specific reasons.
